Bri Kersten
Yoga was an unexpected gift that arrived in my life early in college. I had been working with what I didn’t know was a muscle imbalance, that made most activity misery. Yoga ignited my curiosity around my own well being. Suddenly I was feeling strong and I wanted to know why, and that never stopped.
Six years after I started practicing, I went through my own teacher training and dove right into teaching. I started running, and, most recently, the shut down guided me to fitness. The curiosity I experienced with yoga found a complimentary avenue in weightlifting and boxing, which translated into group fitness formats I had started teaching. These are all practices/hobbies I keep, albeit boxing is a little more peripheral these days.
When I’m not getting sweaty at the studio, I move my feet in ballroom fashion, and salsa. Big fan of puppy sitting the best border collie on the planet and baking shareable bakes.
